The problem

You know thousands of people. You cannot find the right one.

Contacts pile up over years in inboxes, phones and spreadsheets. Roles change, companies change, and half the details were never typed in. So when you need the right person, you scroll, guess and ask around.

How it works

How does Contact Intelligence & Enrichment work? Three steps.

From a half-empty record to a profile you can trust.

  1. 1

    Start with your contacts

Begin with the people you already know, wherever they live today.

  2. 2

    Virre fills the gaps

It spots what is missing, such as a role, company, sector or city, and suggests it.

  3. 3

    Search, tag, segment

Find the right person in seconds, by role, sector, city or tag, and build lists that stay up to date.

What it fills in

What does a complete profile include?

The details you would otherwise chase down by hand.

01

Role and company

Who they are and where they work now.

02

Sector

The industry or field they work in.

03

City and region

Where they are based, useful before you travel or host.

04

Your tags

Your own labels, such as thesis, stage or topic, so the right person is easy to find.

05

Gaps flagged

Virre shows which details are missing in a record, so you know what to trust.

06

A network you can search

Ask in plain language and build segments from a database you can rely on.

The science of networking

What research says about knowing your contacts.

Here is what three studies found, and how Contact Intelligence & Enrichment puts each idea to work.

01

Similarity breeds connection

A review of research on homophily describes how ties tend to form between similar people, so personal networks are fairly homogeneous in sociodemographic, behavioral and intrapersonal traits.

McPherson, Smith-Lovin and Cook, Annual Review of Sociology, 2001. Abstract

How Virre uses it

A sector, city or role on every contact shows what you share with someone, and who sits outside your usual circle.

02

Weaker ties matter, and you know them least

In a study of about 20 million LinkedIn users over five years, weaker ties had a greater beneficial effect on job mobility.

Rajkumar et al., Science, 2022. MIT summary

How Virre uses it

It fills in who your weaker ties are, so they are easy to place and easy to reach.

03

Old contacts still deliver

Executive MBA students who asked dormant ties for help on an important project got results that compared favorably with those from their current ties.

Levin, Walter and Murnighan, Organization Science, 2011. Abstract

How Virre uses it

An old record gets its details filled in, so you remember who someone is before you reconnect.

What is Contact Intelligence & Enrichment?

Contact Intelligence & Enrichment is the Virre feature that spots what is missing in your contact records and fills it in. Role, company, sector and city become complete, so you can search, tag and segment your network and trust what you find.

What does Virre fill in?

Details such as role, company, sector and city, and it flags which ones are missing in a record. You add your own tags on top, so you can find the right person fast. Reach out to our team and we will walk through the details Virre can fill in for your network.

How does enrichment work?

Virre spots missing attributes in a contact record and suggests them, so you do not have to chase people or type details in by hand. Records stay complete as your network grows. Reach out to our team and we will talk through where each detail comes from and how you review it.

How do tags work?

Tags are your own labels for people, such as investor, MedTech or advisor. You add them to the contacts that matter, and they keep a network built over years organized and searchable. Clear tags mean you can find the right person quickly, without scrolling a long list.

Can I search my network in plain language?

Yes. You can ask for the people you know in a sector or a city, the way you would say it to a friend, such as who you know in climate fintech. Virre shows the people who fit, with the context of each relationship, instead of a list of matching rows.

How is it different from a spreadsheet or a CRM?

A spreadsheet holds what you type, and a CRM holds what your team enters. Contact Intelligence & Enrichment spots what is missing and fills it in, so records stay complete without manual upkeep. It also centers on the people in your network rather than on deals or accounts.

How does a complete profile help my outreach?

A complete record shows what you have in common with someone, such as a sector, a city or a role, and who sits outside your usual circle. That gives you a better reason to reach out and a better message to send, and it takes less effort to write.

How does it work with the rest of Virre?

Complete profiles make every other feature sharper. Goal Mapping, Network Mapping and Next Best Actions can only work with what they know about each person, so the more complete the record, the better the people and next steps Virre can suggest.

Who is Contact Intelligence & Enrichment for?

Anyone whose network has outgrown a spreadsheet: professionals and executives, founders and operators, investors, coaches and advisors, enterprise and sales teams, communities and associations, and event organizers. If you build relationships through people, complete records save you time.

How much does Virre cost?

Starter is free. Pro is $9.99 a month and Pro+ is $19.99 a month at limited-time prices, billed monthly, and you can cancel any time. Teams, event organizers and communities get custom pricing on the Organizations plan: talk to our team and we will shape a plan around your people.

Who is behind Virre?

I built Virre because I believe the right relationships change everything, and they rarely happen by accident. After more than 25 years in senior leadership roles, I had thousands of connections and still did not know who could actually help me when I started my own venture. Virre exists so the people who matter are never lost in a contact list. Gunjan Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Virre.
